WISHING OUR READERS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.
It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year, and I hope you are taking advantage of the Christmas sales and deals out there. I am still doing my Christmas shopping, and because it is something I enjoy, I am not in a hurry to finish. I guess I get carried away with the Christmas jingle bells while shopping, LOL. Are you stressed out from deciding on what to buy, or are you one of those with a long list of recipients, and affordability is a source of concern? Shopping for the perfect gift doesn’t have to be stressful, so please put on a smile. Here are some last minute gift ideas:
- A coffee or tea mug,
- A box of her favorite chocolate
- Beauty boosters/favorite perfume
- Gift card from favorite store
- Unusual surprises.
I hope any of these ideas can be helpful to you… Ladies, I am sure you all agree with me when I say Christmas gifts tucked under the tree brings some splendor into the room. It’s always a beautiful and colorful sight, and is even more fun with the kids opening their gifts with so much excitement.
EMBRACING CHRISTMAS IN A BODYCON CAPE DRESS
As much as I love dressing up, winter does create a huge challenge: too cold outside and warm inside. What do I wear to keep warm but not sweaty? How do I look chic and keep warm at the same time? This is a common problem amongst women. The simple answer is, get a perfect warm winter coat and you can just about wear anything underneath to your cocktails, dinner parties or other functions. If you live in Toronto, Canada, you don’t need me to emphasize on this, as the winter here can be extremely cold, in addition to the frequent snowstorms.
As a fashion blogger and fashion enthusiast, my primary goal is to always find the “fabulous for less” for you, my readers, however, sometimes, my only focus has to be on trends and not necessarily on price, but I do this in anticipation of you finding the showcased piece at your preferred fashion store. I hope you can appreciate that and thanks for your understanding.
A minimalist look can also be dramatic, and this sleeveless cape dress says it all. I spotted this silhouette at Melanie Lyne in November and I couldn’t resist trying it on. The dress is just perfect for a Christmas dinner. The bold cape at the shoulders is everything. Talk about drama and simplicity, and you know you have made the right choice. I love, love, love it. It is a perfect evening or day dress for this holiday season. I choose fabulous and I chose right with this one. This dress will look amazing on anyone. The cape is big enough to hide our arms and the black color even makes it more structured, if you know what I mean, ladies. You can never go wrong with black. From simple to statement dress, you are sure to make an entrance and never be forgotten with this look. Coco Chanel once said “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” Don’t we all want to be remembered? I am sure we do. I paired it up with black patent pumps. I chose black because I wanted to keep that minimalist look, however, any color of pump will do just fine. Going out in the cold? High knee boot will be amazing in this mini piece. Strap on an evening purse, and you are set for your Christmas party. Gorgeous isn’t it? Tell us your thoughts on cape trend, Yay or Nay? Yah for me, as you can see I am rocking mine. Merry Christmas, and thanks for stopping by.
